Where is the pit?

I’m heading out but for all the scouting I’ve been doing I’m still not seeing any migrators

Mostly Sunny, No Precipitation – Over 70 Degrees
Hunted Thurs thru Sun. Good numbers of ducks. Wind calm, no wind Sat and Sun. Should be a good second phase with all the nasty weather up North. Remember be sportsman and cherish what we have and do your part to preserve it.

Yeah, I hunted a lake in the panahandle region and did very well. Had a mixed bag consisting of gadwalls, teal, wood ducks, redheads, ringnecks, and bluebills. Good shooting, the cold weather up north really got some birds down for us. Two mornings in a row with four people hunting and everybody got limits, not bad. One guy shot a banded woody, dont see that too often. Good luck to everybody.

Big O 11-21-2005 09:04
Mostly Cloudy, No Precipitation – Over 70 Degrees
I hunted the Big O on Saturday; and it was sad. Did not see many birds few; saw a few large flocks buzzing around but way out of gun range. I spoke with other hunters at the boat ramp and they all said the same thing; it was the worst opener they have ever had. From the reports that I have read it sounds like there are a lot of birds in the northern part of the state. It was still fun to get out; planning on going again Sunday.

Hey fellas,

I am just a 26 year old farm-boy from Illinois who is now a wildlife biologist for the state near Ft Myers. I left behind my lifetime hunting partners at home and would like to make some new friends down here or information on areas to hunt. I am fairly familiar with Southwest Florida and live in Lehigh Acres. I am a responsible, safe, and passionate waterfowler and would love to familiarize myself with this area as quick as possible so I don’t lose many hunting days.

Feel free to email me at wtrfwl5@yahoo.com or reply on here if interested in making a new hunting partner.

Thank you

Chad Casey

I just wanted to see if I was the only guy who spent his Saturday morning trying to get through for the MI quota permits. I bet i called a hundred times and could never get through. If any body knows a secret to get these people on the phone let me know, i still have 2 more days to get one. If not i will just hunt the river, i have killed more ducks out there anyway. Allright, dead bird, mark, Get em Drake!!!
