Went over my christmas break from school. We stayed out of a place on the north end of Mille Lacs.
My wife out fished me on keeper fish. All walleyes under 17 can be kept. I caught a 24 inch and 22 inch walleye that had to go back.
It was a fun trip. The fish were biting pretty good sunday and slower after 9 am monday morning. Then it completely shut off.
Stopped at Reeds a few times and my wife won $400 plus at the casino on the way home.
Yrs ago I believe it was the south side of Mille Lacs that was the best for ice fishing for eyes and perch. Never ice fished there but did open water fish….we used to catch a ton of fat perch. Had some great taverns around the lake……good pick em up joints! Jason, leave the wives home and you and your buds make a trip there….pretty sure you could get laid.
Sweet Jas. Sounds like y’all had a good time.
Went to a fish house on Mille Lacs once and never picked up the first rod, but still had a killer time. To this southern boy, its crazy as hEll driving a truck that far out on the ice. You could get lost if there wasnt roads and maps.
Then you don’t want to ice fish lake of the woods then.
The ice is unreal there. The ice moved so much that it made the whole fish house shake. Pucker factor there.
I’ve open water fished the hell out of LOW. But I can’t imagine the ice being more treacherous then ice fishing and ice spearing on Lake Winnebago.
Jason….ya wanna get laid or not?
Hey JC, you off your meds?
When I’m off my meds that’s when I’m especially horny. How bout the 2 of us go to Mille Lacs? I’ll show you around big boy.
You know your WFC discounts at Reeds are good in-store too? Just have to mention your a member and you get their VIP pricing.
I’ll have to remember that webbie. Not a bad store. I’d have to say they are more fishing oriented. But that works just as good.
The one near mille lacs is fishing mostly. Some hunting clothes. The one in walker has guns i believe.
Nice to know about the discount now.
Right on Jason! You’ll be able to save a few bucks when you buy your Red Rider BB gun and coonskin cap made in China.
