Sunny & Clear, Winds Calm – 30-34 Degrees – Open Water
Guided at Skeeter Branch located of 77 south of I-85.

Saw good many woodducks a teal and some Ringnecks. Not shootable but nice to see them.

SW of us was a lot of shooting on a private swamp, somebody was having a very good day up there. Also, owner of Skeeter Branch noticed Pintails and GAdwalls on SC property near Hartwell so we are getting migration in here.

As you know we never have BIG numbers on the lake. I stay pretty much on the north end of the lake. not much water left now but there are holes.

Well, well look what the North West winds brought in.

This AM while giving my dogs some retrieves at Two Mile Creek I spotted the first Loons to arrive in the area.

Also noted several more Mallards than normal. Lake Windward had some new birds on it, looked like Divers.

looks like we are getting some migration

Going Hunting without a Trained Retriever is like going on a honeymoon without a bride.
