your one of the issues with this site ol man, not by any means “the issue”, just one of the many. So if you were gone and this worked and this was quicker and that worked, there would be a lot more people hanging in here,ya know what i mean?

DU, i cut the breast (across the grain) into 3oz medallions, jaccard them, rube em with a little olive oil, garlic, kosher salt and black pepper. Char-grill to Medium Well, serve with a sauce/salsa of your choice.
The legs and thighs are braised for upwards of 6 hours til the meat is falling off the bone, make a great sauce from the braising liquid by adding a little dark roux. pull the meat off bones, makes a great stew with the sauce and some root veges, peas and sweet cornApril 24, 2013 at 5:27 pm #5057
great story man, looks like your startin to hate as much as me! i’ve killed my 4 TX birds, 2 in OK(so i’m one short) and 1 here in NM. I hope to kill the other NM bird this weekend and the other OK bird next weekend. Then it’ll be CO, KS and NE for 6 more! God I hate turkeys, but love to eat em! Oh and 2 double beards this year!
