Heard many ducks in the morning but could not see them. We could have used the weather yesterday Vs today but oh well. We managed a few ducks, one with a band, and a goose. I really don’t know how many ducks were in the area since we could not see anything.

A solid amount of Canada Geese were observed just north of the Canal from the Delaware River area clear west to Route 896. Same holds true for the same area south of the Canal.

Snow geese were seen in fields from just south of the canal into northern Kent County.

Have noticed very large amounts of snow geese in the area. They seem to be using every field in the canal area around rt. 13. I just hope this is a sign of new birds and hopefully some new ducks came down as well. Dec. 14th here we come.

We shot 2 teal, 1 black, 1 mallard. Lots of canada birds flying, birds are already blind shy, we need a good push of new birds from up north.

Today with the cold weather and Northwest wind was no good with the sunshine. Saw some ducks coming back to the hook that must have been feeding all night with the full moon. None real interested in coming our way. The Canada Goose flight was the best of the season but no working birds.
