Sorry fellas for the lack of post, but was in an accident and in thhe hospital for 2 weeks. Broke my ribs, colar bone, verabras in my back and punctured lung. after some recover time i’ll be back out scouting and reporting. Thanks.

Don’t get that way very often. I know that allatoona is covered up with resident mallards it seems this year. the local ponds seem to have a whole bunch of resident geese as well. Just whether they will leave and be huntable is the questions

Saw my first group of bluewings on a local pond here in cherokee co. It was a small group but it got the juices flowing again for ducks. it won’t be long until early season.

Had a work weekedn at the marsh this past weekend. Planted 6 acres and built 4 new blinds. Things are looking good. Just hope the rain comes back along with some cold weather this fall. We’ve done our part it’s just up to mother nature now.
