Hunted pond 2 on saturday afternoon. Not too much flying around until right after shooting hours were over. Saw 35 honkers and bout 400 migrating mallards. Hopefully we will get some weather to push more new birds in.

Hunted table yesterday afternoon with not much success. Not many ducks and did not see a single goose. Thought maybe the weather over the weekend would push some new birds in, but again I was wrong.

Saw flocks of sandhills headed south today so hopefully the ducks and geese are close behind!

TABLE 10-04-2008 19:59
Sunny & Clear, Morning Fog – 60-65 Degrees
Headed to Table early this morning and got out to pond 4 just to find out it is totally covered with moss, so we spent the next 2 hours clearing a spot for the birds to land in. Not much action for us early but the other ponds were pounding down, they didnt like 4 or out blinds so we gave up early and of course here come the birds, ended up with 4 teal and one goose.
