thanks for the info jc. this may or not be good for us in the sacramento or or the san joaquin valleys area–but from i gather tule lake/lower klamath will not have very much water for the coming season. due to lack of rain to fill klamath lake and some other areas there may be only one or two marsh areas with water and sump 1b may not get any water at all. i guess that could help us in kind of a sad way is that a lot of the waterfowl may just fly past that area altogether!!

Good news! Larely due to the wet Spring we’ve had duck #’s are up 22% from last yr. Total count is at 560,000 from less than 450,000 and mallards are up to 380,000.

you guys really don’t get it do ya?? i write that way to him to slam him and make fun of the brush okie so that maybe he’ll stay away!!–like duuuuh!! staggers—-the imagination!!!!! i don’t know any more about him than you guys!!so you guys are your own when he comes back now–so don’t be female caninein when he does cause now you’ve opened the door for the poor dried out alkie–okie!! heh heh–also i see that the webma has done some editing!! oh and just a little itsy sidenote–i like to start hunting ducks in oct–no need to wait till late dec thru jan eh? and if the ruddy duck is the main bird at a rice club is mainly all you have to offer–uuuummmmmmmmno–i’ll pass!! i mean–cause it doesn’t sound like the northern spoonbill action in the rice is not that great!!

Arctic Blast – Froze Out
Open invite for sprigkiller and w to hunt together with me. Man, I will be in the middle with a calm sense to keep things safe. Rice hunt with sprigman and the Tex Man. I will catch it on film. Must be in late Dec or early Jan. That is when it gets good. We have a heck of a ruddy flight at that time of year. Those little butter balls would be perfect for you two.
