Johnny Stewart® Wildlife Calls has set the industry standard for nearly 50 years, building rugged dependable game callers that use the original high quality Johnny Stewart sounds. Now four new electronic callers are available that feature leading edge technology to help hunters, whether novice or expert, be more successful in the field.
The four models include the Jury, Bloodhound, Gallows and Executioner. All four models include a separate remote control. The Bloodhound, Gallows and Executioner remotes operate on rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. The Jury remote runs on a single 12V alkaline battery. The main units have a unibody base and speaker design and are built from a tough impact resistant polymer. The speaker can be rotated to modify sound dispersion for different calling situations. The weather resistant speaker yields clear, accurate and authentic sounds. The base unit operates on 8 AA or 8 C batteries. The callers have a power save mode to extend battery life, yielding 6-8 hours of continuous play. The top three units have USB ports to connect to a computer to enable both new sound downloads and potential firmware updates. New sounds can be downloaded athttps://www.cdtdigital.com/hunterspec/ The Jury has a USB port to allow for downloading of sounds only. All four models will also play 2 sounds at once for an almost endless mix of calling scenarios.
The Jury caller comes pre-loaded with 25 original Johnny Stewart sounds and has 128 MB of internal built-in memory for recording up to 99 sounds. It comes with a compact 12 key remote that will operate up to 75 yards away from the base unit.
The Bloodhound model comes pre-loaded with 50 Johnny Stewart sounds and has 2GB of internal memory and 4 pre-sets. It comes with an ergonomic remote that features 12 quiet soft keys with touch registers and an LCD display. The remote has a range of 200 yards.
The Gallows caller comes pre-loaded with 75 Johnny Stewart sounds with 4GB of internal memory and 16 pre-sets. The remote has a 300 yard range, 16 quiet soft keys with touch registers and an LCD display. The base unit also comes with a full set of controls and can be operated without the remote. The Gallows caller also features three calling modes: Standard, which plays sounds precisely as recorded; Sound Shuffle, which randomly shuffles sound segments of the original loop so wildlife never hears a sequence the same way twice and Custom, which plays calls in a sequence designed and programmed by the user. The Gallows features a built-in GPS feature with up to 16 recordable waypoints, allowing hunters to mark their favorite calling stands and return to the spots where they had previous success
