Yeah, we have had good numbers of snows the past week or so. Killed ten last Saturday 35 miles south of Kansas City.
Between Mcpherson and Quivira has had decent numbers most of the season.
Anthony KS has also got decent numbers right now.
Should be able to tell you more after this weekend.

Sunny & Clear, High Winds – 25-30 Degrees – Ice
Hunting geese about 4 miles west of the Itan Power Plant. We were in a corn field (late afternoon) with ~116 decoys out. A lone Canada goose flew over (caught us outside the blinds). Otherwise, we saw no geese, absolutely no geese flying. We saw one group of about 30/35 Mallards. They seemed to be looking for a field to pitch into.

What does anybody think about field hunting mallard and Canada Goose opportunities in north central Kansas for the split opener the 17th. Looks like a few birds on some of the reservoirs. Would like to make the trip with my 14 year old son and would appreciate any info Thanks.

Man were the winds howling on Sat the 20th. Tons of small geese and alot of the greenheads. We limited out on the 1st group of geese that dropped in and shot some nice mallards. The only open water now is the near-by sand pits. Good luck to all.
And have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Hello, anyone home.No posts since November 30th.This does not help any of your neighbor states on ducks. Want to take a late season hunt to Lake Perry area, anything going on in that area.?Surely there must be more hunters interested in being a VFE for the state other than just one person.

Hunted the Res again. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BIRDS. We saw very few birds. Nothing at all flying. Talked to several others that hunted and same results. NOTHING!!!!
