Settled on a narrow stretch of fast moving water for a 2.5 hour hunt. Managed to get 3 big ducks and 3 divers. Not bad for an afternoon. Kicked out a big flock (200+) at daybreak but blowing snow limited flights. Managed 5 birds in tough conditions. There are several big flocks around if you can get at them. Also saw good numbers of ducks along the river as a result of freeze up of backwaters. Have to get after ’em this week. Finally, welcome Wade!
