Other than that didn’t see much. The water is very high and I believe you could run a prop anywhere you want in clearwater lake or river. Seen a hen mallard Sat night with a good hatch of around 7-8 ducklings and I believe like you that most are still hiding, lots of adults down here though. 64 days and a wake up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My experience has been to use or charter the bigger boats in Dec, I well usually pass on most sea ducks and shoot mallards; we did shoot a pintail last week..
