MIGRATION UPDATE – November 10, 2005

The long awaited return of cold weather is here for many areas of the US and Canada. Freezing temps and localized snowfall have the potential to restart the stalled migration for many parts of the nation. Migration Update – October 27, 2005

After predictions of an early onset to cold weather, it now appears that the rush toward winter is on hold for much of the US. Though cooler weather has begun to move into some portions of the Nation, the overall weather picture has the migration backing up at the US/Canadian border. At the half-way point in October, waterfowlers across the country are waiting and wondering. Just as the snow began to melt in the upper Plaines, a winter weather system drove through the central Rockies.
