Sunny & Clear, Winds Calm – Over 70 Degrees
Had a pretty good early season in north FL taking some good woodies and a few teal. I am planning my first trip to Arkansas this fall, does anybody know of any special items that would not have been thought of by a first timer. Any help would be greatly appreciated, come on cold fronts and the rest of the birds.

The vegetation bloomed! All the places I hunted last year are grown over and there’s hardly any open water. The Godevil wouldn’t go through most of it, it’s so thick. Total count: 2 coots.

Forget it! There’s so much water they have closed the ramps. You can’t even get out there to look! A friend of mine went out there gator hunting and said the water is up in the trees, weirs are gone, signs are under water, and the water is moving at 60. Might be awhile before it’s huntable out there. Lake O is so full of water that if you do find ducks, shoot once, and they’re gone. Too many places for them to go.

Hello everyone. I am in the Navy and I am stationed in Jacksonville. I am originally from Oklahoma, so I have no clue as to where to hunt. I see that there are a few reports from the Tallahassee area. I will be on a 3 month underway starting this week, and I wont be back until Dec., any info that I could use for when I get back would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks to all,
V/R Brandon Deaver

Does any one have any info on the position of the cattle gap at lake Jackson. I walked down the trail the other day and it was posted and blocked off. Are they not allowing anybody to get back there this year or what? Anybody with some info let me know, no teal yet. Still to hot.
