Saturday,

Very few ducks around our lease. A few Specks around with some scattering of scaup, teal, smiling mallards, and teal. I have heard of some mallards around but very few right now. Although most of the delta has had some water most haven’t pumped their lease’s yet. With the season about 3 weeks away most will start to get their holes filled and everyone should start to hold some ducks. Right now mahanna is holding quite a few ducks. Mostly gadwall and teal and smiling mallards. With the warm up in the northern part of the country this week i don’t look for any good pushes of birds to arrive. Although the long term forcast did show some snow to hit the upper part of the country sunday.

Until my next post

Remember it’s what we do today that will tell what happens tomorrow.
