With the warm temps we are having, is there anyone out and about that can tell me if the birds are on their way to the Aberdeen Area?. My 12 yr old son is itching to kill something.

I do believe the 18th-23rd is going to be good and in fact that is when we are heading out. All I can say is try and be flexible. When you see warm temps and south winds in the Madison area, that is the time to go.

Some adults but no big numbers yet. Sounds like a cold windy few days….it could be a week or 2 yet before it gets good.

Jeff, I wouldn’t drive very far. Ducks are few and well conditioned.

Guess we’ll have to make do with what’s available on the Nebraska side. This practice is legal for Iowa/Illinois residents hunting or fishing the Mississippi river as long as you hunt on the side you are licensed for.
