Mostly Cloudy, No Precipitation – 45-50 Degrees
The opening two weeks have produce 4 limits of gadwall, teal and wood ducks. Can’t wait for the next big front before Thanksgiving.

Everyone just ignore Click. There are no ducks in SETX. I hunt with him and all we really shoot are a few teal, but mostly coot. I shot a double banded bull coot last year, but didn’t mount it. I practice shoot and release when possible. Thank you.

Sunny & Clear, Winds Calm – 35-40 Degrees
Hunted Geese for two days. Day one only three specks and one Lesser Canada saw more dark geese but more Snows since the 15th when I last hunted. On day two got sven specks with very large numbers of Snows. Guys in the aera have reported large new numbers of birds from the last cold front with ducks coming in one fiels with water held 300-500 ducks a week ago and now has numbers in the 1000’s. They feel hunting ducks after the split will be great.

Sunny & Clear, Winds Calm – 50-60 Degrees
Hunted two days last week one day for geese and one for ducks. We got 10 Specks and 7 mixed ducks. The specks are all over and very few Snows I would say I say under 500 in two days and lots of high flying ducks. Hoping with the bad weather up North the Snows make a push down. Four weeks and will be in the panhandle for great hunting.
