Posted By: cajunsorc Guest Pine Island area 10-19-2007 07:10 Cloudy, High Winds – Over 70 Degrees Went by the lease yesterday and noticed a large number of ducks and even a few specks in the fields. Ducks were mainly teal, pintail and greys with some mallards mixed in but very few. These might be some of the liberated mallards from the released birds south of here. Not sure. All in all a pretty good season. Saw plenty of birds yesterday including pintails and greys. No geese yet which is somewhat unusual for this time of the year.
