the nice thing about the waterfowler.com is that there is the ablity to private message between member.

It wild be nice of “duck hunter kid” and “coldkiller” would start use the private message service and not the report area to chat with each other.

Sunny & Clear, High Winds – 25-30 Degrees – Open Water
Hunted Sat am and saw fewer ducks than we saw last week. managed to get our limits. mixed bag of teal, mallards, pates, and gaddies. I have never seen so many geese.

Saturday afternoon the mallards (new birds) started showing up and we had a great mallard shoot on Sunday. We got our mallards limit in 45 minutes. Saw lots of new birds.

Cloudy, High Winds – 25-30 Degrees – Ice
I am a Louisiana VFE but I hunted the north MS area this past weekend. The front had just arrived into the Tunica area Friday evening and when we hit the blinds Sat morning, it was 24 degrees. We shot 10 ducks and 6 gesse in the morning. Then went back out in the pm to try and shoot some more geese.

Lots and lots of gesse (specks and snows) are down. We hunted Sunday morning and shot 18 ducks and 3 gesse (4 guns). We missed at least that many more. We saw more and more birds arriving with the front and certainly we expected to have even more birds behind or near the back of the front.

It was a good hunt and and great people in this area.

Thanks
Bill Daniel
LA VFE

Cloudy, High Winds – 30-34 Degrees – Open Water
only hunted sunday and i went with bro-inlaw to his field lease. 4 adults 1 kid shot 12 teal 1 canda and 1 speck. the wind was so strong it made it hard to work ducks and once they found a place to land they stayed put. does anyone have any info on the river between marks and crowder. I saw boat ramps at both places and was curious if there is any places to hunt on it. not a lot of posting for ms so far this year

A BAD DAY OF HUNTING BEATS WORK ANYDAY
