It did push some ducks Mingo, it pushed them out. I travel alot daily and today I went all the way to Ada and back over to Chickasha and might have seen a dozen ducks. We just need to keep an eye out, they should be here in a day or two.

Snuck out for a really, I mean really quick look this morning. Hunted the same pond we shot 14 on last week. Saw three ducks, shot none. Can’t believe this weather didn’t push some ducks.

Hunted a smaller pond today and saw fewer ducks than yesterday. It was basically a skunking although for some reason a lone Gadwall came around after we had finished picking up the decoys and got shot.

Did see a decent buck chasing a doe.

Saw very few ducks this morning. Had a small group 3 GWT drop in. Shot a hen out of the bunch, went to get her and she flew off!! Seen quite a few ducks flying in between 9-9:30. Not sure if they were moving because of the front or what. Hopefully this weather will bring some new birds.

Wyatt is a good kid! Tell him hello for me.

DW, I think that is some kind of “bad word” filter and substitute. Seems like if you try to type wash i t a it ends up Washura or something like that.

Glad you found some birds.

All those years of taking the young uns paid off today. I had not found much to hunt in my haunts and had just about settled into this morning being a scouting morning, then my nephew Wyatt called me up and informed me he found some ducks and had gotten permission to hunt them. He told me there were 2 to 3 hundred Grey ducks on a farrm pond near his home. Well I had nothing better so we gave it a whirl this morning with Matt one of my other nephews. I set the deks out right where he spotted the birds. LST came and within 10 minutes we had 18 and were pickin up. Amazingly, every single bird was a Gaddy. We gave each other high 5’s and all went to the local diner for some bacon! It was a real treat to see these young men not only find jerk and master scout it, but proceed to out shoot the old man!!!

Same here, saw few birds, bagged three. Maybe this weak north wind will help.

Not much flying this morning. Managed 3 gadwalls out of a group of 4. Nothing else gave us a look.
