Went to Ithaca New York on Saturday, the lakes and ponds are open and lots of corn fields have not been harvested.

Over the weekend saw a few hundred snow geese around Symrna. Some large ducks around, but not in large numbers.

had a great shoot on friday, managed our limit with a quickness. had beautiful tolls of large flocks of teal and a few big ducks mixed in. saw large flocks of ducks moving about in the high winds, probably fresh birds moving in along with old birds moving out. All in all cant wait for the next split if we can catch some weather it should be a great time.

Pretty slow afternoon. Saw quite a few flocks of snow geese trading back and forth around the Woodland Beach WMA area. The Canada Geese are becoming very concentrated in a few select fields – one in particular that is adjacent to a neighborhood.

Nice way to end the season. Saw few big flocks of teal and few big ducks but ended this first season like I want to have the remaining splits:

2 Mallards
2 Wood-ducks
1 Black Duck
1 Green-wing Teal

Lots of “sky-carp” and Canadas moving into cut bean fields! Polish the H&R off for Friday!

Managed to kill a few ducks(mallards, black, woodie) but still not the numbers I would like to see. Pretty much shot what we saw but there are good numbers of Geese in the area. Hopefully with some colder weather Thanksgiving week will be promising and give us the numbers we expect to see.
