The Snow Geese began to make there way out there in two large concentrations later in the morning. The birds seemed to want in close to land or out around the 2.5mi mark. Posted By: benpentoney Web Member Sussex 11-30-2006 09:51 Cloudy, Heavy Fog – 50-60 Degrees Hunted Prime Hook yesterday, a lot of birds still moving around over despite the lack of good hunting weather. Shot 2 canadas, 3 Snows, black duck, and a mallard. Thick fog made for fast difficult shot on ducks, by the time you saw them it was almost too late to pull the trigger Posted By: Sean-Brooks Guest sussex and kent 11-29-2006 09:34 – – – Birds seem to be getting a little shy. Posted By: Bill Erhart Field Editor Northern New Castle 10-25-2006 19:12 Sunny & Clear, Winds Calm – 50-60 Degrees Just jogging around North Wilmington, the storm basins have been used by mallards. On Monday, October 23rd, the one at the Brandywine Towne Center had about one hundred mallards in it at 6am, with ducks flying all around. I surmise it is a sign that the cold weather is moving ducks.
